Games are showcasing launch and gameplay trailers left and right, and these include the 2014 dark stealth game Thief, The Wolf Among Us, New Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and Drakengard 3.

The Walking Dead creator is releasing The Wolf Among Us, a game adaptation of Bill Willingham's famous Fables comic book series this week.

To ramp up the excitement, Telltale Games has released another trailer, this time for the first episode, Faith. If you didn't know, the game follows the format and the animation of the comics. In addition, it focuses on making decisions from the point of view of Bigby.

The trailer basically introduces you to the world of Sheriff Bigby Wolf. Hopefully, the game will get the same or even a bigger fan base compared to Telltale Games' other hit game The Walking Dead.

The Wolf Among Us Episode 1: Faith releases on October 11, and according to VG 24/7, preorders are still available at a 10% discount when you buy via Telltale Games. The Season Pass will cover the remaining four episodes, and will be available at $14.99 after the first episode is released.

The October 11 release date only covers Xbox 360, PC, and Mac, as the PS3 version will be released some days after for North America and Europe.

Garrett is back stealing stuff

Square Enix has been a little quiet on the developments of its upcoming 2014 game Thief. But the developers have given a nice surprise for those who have been waiting for some new elements to see in Thief, as showcased in this latest trailer.

If before, all that has been released involved sketches and story trailers, this time, the gameplay trailers show just a few of Garrett's moves as he explores the world, narrates the changes in the environment, and a new job.

One of the missions is to get the Heart of the Lion from the Baron Northcrest's manor. But the fun isn't just in getting the treasure, but in vanishing into the night with your loot.

Another Donkey Kong Country

Aside from Thief, 2014 will also bring a new game for Nintendo fans, in the form of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. The trailer features Dixie Kong getting into all kinds of adventures including underwater swimming and switching between foreground and background, reports Coming Soon.

Drakengard 3 for PS3

Square Enix's activities don't stop with Thief, as the developers also announced Drakengard 3, a PS3-exclusive game, via a trailer.

The game will come in 2014 to the U.S., and according to Just Push Start, this installment is a prequel that will focus on the medieval world, where you have to battle against the forces and bring back the mystery of Zero, one of the six goddess-like characters in the game.
