In time for the sequel "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," the video game tie-in from Beenox Studio that will debut alongside the movie is now in development.

The action game will feature alternate events from the movie, free-roaming adventure in a bigger environment and new enemy battles. According to GameSpot, there will also be some bit of detective work involved, as Peter Parker will also get screen time as he investigates what happens behind the scenes in Manhattan.

Another added feature is the Hero or Menace system, which is an incentive and consequence mechanism that either rewards you for your crime-fighting efforts or imposes consequences on you for allowing criminals to run free.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS and PC.

'Infinite Crisis' Behind the Scenes and New Amplifiers

While "Infinite Crisis" is now on beta, the Turbine team of developers has been very generous in showing fans some behind the scenes look of the game as well as the features that can be expected.

According to Softpedia, there will be destructible environments in the "Infinite Crisis" playable maps and the catastrophes that will happen in the maps can be a big game changer. The Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game is slated for release before the year ends, but as early as October, a new feature will be released for the beta.

According to lead designer Ryan Bednar in an exclusive with Joystiq, the update allows you to customise your characters and gadgets outside of the match with the use of amplifiers. There are basically two types of these amplifiers: augments for customising stats so you can adjust them according to what you need and mods for modifying stats on any artifact so you can add attack damages.

"We want players to play a match and then think about how that match went," said Mr Bednar. The October update will have a number of preview sets available which are non-customisable but the future update will have the customisable batch.

Doctor Strange Gets a Game

Another Marvel character is getting its own game, this time from Zen Studios. Marvel Pinball, which will feature Doctor Strange, will be released this December.

According to Polygon, the game will put Doctor Strange against Baron Mordo, the sorcerer, and will feature other characters like Clea and Wong.

"The greatest powers of the occult, both from our own world and the darkest dimensions in existence, are combining their forces to take over Earth," said Zen Studios. "And only one man can stop them -- Doctor Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme!," it added.

A trailer has been released for the game, and it will be made available on iOS, Android, Windows 8, Mac, Xbox Live Arcade, PSN, Steam, Kindle Fire, and Nintendo. The game is pretty much a follow-up and Doctor Strange-customised version of "Marvel Pinball."
