"Thor" actor Chris Hemsworth safely arrived last Friday, August 2, at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport at about 1:10 p.m. from a Hong Kong flight. The Australian actor is expected to stay in Malaysia for over a month to film his upcoming action thriller movie project "Cyber."

The hunky Mr Hemsworth was spotted and photographed while walking at the airport looking cool in his casual clothing of a t-shirt, Bermuda shorts, dark sunglasses and a straw hat. Police officers even escorted the 29-year-old actor going outside from a VIP room.

Chris Hemsworth will reportedly stay for five weeks in Malaysia while filming his upcoming movie project under the direction of Michael Mann, whose film credits under his belt are "Collateral," "Heat," "Ali" and "Miami Vice." The IMDB Web site reported as well that filming was already done in other locations such as Los Angeles, Jakarta and Hong Kong.

The "Cyber" movie cast members include Mandapop king Wang Lee-Hom and Chinese actress Tang Wei. The two international stars have worked together in the Ang Lee film "Lust, Caution" and both arrived as well in Malaysia last Friday.

As Chris Hemsworth strolled on the airport, the two Asian superstars gave the Malaysians a warm "hello" greeting. Wang Lee-Hom and Tang Wei expressed they were "very happy" when inquired about how they feel returning to Malaysia after filming "Lust, Caution."

The action thriller film story revolved around the computer hacking world. A computer hacker managed to get through a high-level security so the American and Chinese military forces were set out to join forces in stopping the hack.

In the mean time, local fans of Chris Hemsworth are very excited to personally meet or just catch a glimpse of the handsome Australian actor after learning that he is in town. Alice Chia, a 21-year-old fan, revealed that she has been searching for news and details about Chris Hemsworth.

"I've been monitoring my Facebook and Twitter accounts every now and then. It would be a dream come true to see him in person," the undergraduate student stated. For Ms Chia's friend, Emily Chan, her dream was to have a picture taken with Wang Lee-Hom.

"Of course, I would love to see Hemsworth. But standing next to Lee-Hom for a photo has always been my dream," Emily, 22, admitted. Chris Hemsworth has catapulted into international stardom after taking on the superhero character in "Thor" and "The Avengers."

The other upcoming movie projects of Mr Hemsworth include "Rush" and the sequel "Thor: The Dark World." The action thriller film "Cyber" is set to be released in movie theaters in 2014.
