A foretaste of what the HTC One Max will look like has been leaked on the Internet. Images of the upcoming HTC phablet appeared at numerous tech Web sites showing a 5.9-inch screen display of the new Taiwanese device.

The rumours and excitement on the HTC One Max appears to have weakened after the announcement on the HTC One Mini but it kicks off once again as device enthusiasts have a look at the device for the first time. One of the leak's sources further claims that the HTC One Max is already going through some tests in China with consumers getting three different versions from China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom.

The leaked images of the HTC One Max show the upcoming phablet holding a close resemblance to the HTC One and HTC One Mini. It has an aluminum unibody design, a polycarbonate strip on the device's sides and the dual speakers located at the front.

This HTC One Max variation will reportedly include a removable back cover, dual-SIM slots and SD card support running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS with HTC Sense 5.5 UI. Aside from the 5.9-inch screen size with 1080p display resolution, the Max will be equipped with a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, Adreno 330 GPU, 3300mAh battery, 16GB internal storage capacity that can be expanded and the 4MP UltraPixel camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS).

The German mobile site Mobile Geeks report that the HTC One Max will be hitting the shelves in September 2013 possibly as a competitive approach against the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which is rumoured to be released around the same time. However, there is no confirmation yet as to when the HTC One Max will head to several markets outside of Asia.
