It seems that Jose Mourinho, whose side has only lost two matches in the whole season, is looking to make changes to his near perfect squad. His Chelsea side are in contention to win four trophies this season. He is leaving no stones unturned to improve his squad even further to convert that potential into triumph.

It seems that Paul Pogba, the Manchester United youth team player who was released in 2012 for free to Juventus is their big money target this winter. Chelsea are ready to offer a transfer request in the region of £40m to the Italian champions for their prized 21 year old French international playmaker. Paul Pogba has also been subject to transfer speculations regarding going back to his old club Manchester United. If Pogba keeps performing the way he has done then it is only a matter of time that the English clubs with considerable more money to offer than the other clubs will land their target.

The more realistic target this winter is Fiorentina and Columbian winger Juan Cuadrado, 26. It seems that for the deal to go through the west London club will have to offer the £26.8m transfer fee to trigger the buyout clause present in his contract. Chelsea does not wish to spend more than £20m. The Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Montella has come out and stated that there is no chance of the deal going through.

First though Chelsea would like to sell the German World Cup winner Andre Schurrle. He is wanted by two German clubs Borussia Dortmund as well as Wolfsburg. The latter is willing to pay around £23m for the German while Chelsea value him close to £30m. Italian club AS Roma is looking to get Mohamed Salah on a loan deal and make it permanent in the summer. They are looking to offer around £12m for the permanent deal.
