Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho issued a warning on Blues attacker Andre Schurrle, stating that the latter should "adapt better to the Premier League" in order for him to be a part of the Portuguese's future plans.

The 24-year-old Germany international had a successful stint in the recent World Cup finals, wherein he helped his national side win the coveted trophy. But apparently, Mourinho isn't satisfied with the way he is performing at club level.

"He is in my plans. We had a problem when he went to the national team the last time and he came back very, very ill and was in trouble for quite a long time," said Mourinho.

"Today he had 75 minutes to improve his form, he is a player who needs to adapt better to the Premier League but is also a player that in three shots usually scores a goal. That's an important quality."

Meanwhile, Mourinho is now looking forward to the knockout stages of the Champions League after topping their group. He is feels that his current squad has that "special something" to win it all this year.

"Last year we were close (to winning) and we didn't have the team playing at such a high level as we have this season, so we can dream," he added.

"But let's see if the sharks let us do that, there are a few sharks in the ocean."
