A few months from now, tension will mount between the two cornerstones of the Avengers initiative in “Captain America: Civil War.” The excitement about the upcoming film has several fan-made trailers circulating the internet. One trailer, which purports to be the real deal is currently going viral.

The authenticity of the leaked trailer is yet to be confirmed. However, straight from directors Joe and Anthony Russo, reports say that the upcoming trailer to be released publicly is almost complete.

The film’s first and official trailer has been screened privately months ago at the D23 Expo in California. Therefore, while the leak may just be one of those fake trailers fishing for clicks, there is also a real possibility that the said video is legit or that the official one will be leaked.

Rumour has it that the trailer for the film will be tied to Disney’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” which is set to premiere a month from now.

As per descriptions of the screened trailer, CBM reports that the clip was screened in the AsisaPop Comic Con in Manila, Philippines. The footage shows extended fight scenes between Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), who will possibly critically injure Black Widow after he delivers a huge blow.

Another scene has Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) reportedly providing comic relief in the middle of the action packed trailer referencing the first instalment of the franchise with Peggy Carter as he pokes fun at Cap’s (Chris Evans) pectoral muscles to check how firm it is.

As for the other characters, Vision (Paul Bettany) is seen going head-to-head with both Falcon (Anthony McKie) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) while Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) fights both Captain America and The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). At the end of it, Steve and Bucky finally hug it out.

"Captain America: Civil War" opens on May 6, 2016.
