There will be a rift between Steve Rogers a.k.a Captain America and Tony Stark a.k.a Iron Man in “Captain America: Civil War.” In light of the Superhuman Registration Act, two factions will be formed; one team will be pro-registration and the other one will be anti-registration.

According to Mr Sunday Movies, Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America (Chris Evans) will lead the anti-registration team and will be getting support from Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Clint Barton/Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Sharon Carter/Agent 13 (Emily Van Camp), Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and Wanda Maximoff/Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).

On the other side is the pro-registration team, which will be led by Tony Stark a.k.a Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.). His team includes James Rhodes/War Machine (Don Cheadle), Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson), Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), T’Challa/Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Vision (Paul Bettany).

The inclusion of Spider-Man and Black Panther on Iron Man’s team reportedly comes as a surpise given that the film will draw inspiration from the comic books. However, there's a theory that the two would eventually side with Captain America since in the comic books, both of them switched sides because they are not truly pro-registration.

However, the plot cannot be as simple as the said division. Recently, a new villain, Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl), has been introduced in the film, so it is safe to assume that Marvel is keeping an important twist under wraps.

Vision reportedly also remains an unknown variable. In the comics, he sided with the rest of the anti-registration group.

That Hashtag Show claims that Vision will jump ship and will be Stark’s opposition throughout the film. In the end, he will leave Earth and go to space. Marvel’s #itsallconnected tag will come into play as Thor’s (Chris Hemsworth) epiphany in the “Avengers: Age of Ultron” film centres around the Mind Stone, which came to life as the talking and walking Vision.

Readers should note, however, that the supposed spoiler about Vision is just a rumour for now because Marvel has not yet confimed it.

“Captain America: Civil War” opens on May 6, 2016.
