“Ant-Man” star Paul Rudd recently recalled his experience meeting the Avengers casts for his cameo appearance in “Captain America: Civil War.” The actor remembered having fun just spending time with the actors/actresses, where he also received some advice about joining Marvel.

In a video interview shared by Comic Book Movie, Paul Rudd recalled his experience meeting the casts of “Captain America: Civil War” for the first time to talk about their film characters. “I actually was on set not too long ago and it was very real the way that it happened just because I’m surrounded by the Avengers,” he said.

Paul Rudd also said he got to talk to Robert Downey Jr. about how the actor perceived his iconic Iron Man role. “I got to talk about what it was like with them [Avengers] and it was pretty amazing,” Paul Rudd added.

In the same interview, Paul Rudd also recalled having talked to “Guardians of the Galaxy” star Chris Pratt, during which he was given an advice about his involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Pratt reportedly said it’s “amazing” to be with Marvel and reminded Paul to “just go with it and to get ready for the ride.”

The “Ant-Man” star was also asked for any advice that he could give to Tom Holland as the new Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man. “Just enjoy it, it’s a fun world,” he said.

Marvel had confirmed in an official press statement that Paul Rudd will be joining the casts of “Captain America: Civil War” after he debuts his titular role as the Ant-Man on July 17, 2015. According to Cinema Blend, Scott Lang a.k.a. Ant-Man will be part of the Avengers team who sides with Steve Rogers against the implementation of the Superhuman Registration Act. Apparently, Paul Rudd’s anti-hero character will be pitted against Tony Stark or Iron Man’s team, who in turn sides with the act that calls for all superhumans to register with the government.

“Ant-Man” is expected to give the Marvel Cinematic Universe another big hit. Movie director James Gunn even teased the success of the film after he had seen the preview. “Ant-Man may just be my favorite Marvel film since Jon Favreau’s Iron Man,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
