Brandon Rios believes that Floyd Mayweather has been deliberately mentioning Manny Pacquiao's name lately to revive his "dying name."

The much-awaited bout has been subject of discussions for about five years, and yet the world is still waiting for it to come to fruition.

"Man you know what? I don't believe it until we see [a] contract, until they actually walk into the f****** ring. Until there's really like face-to-face, press conference and all that, then I'll believe it," he told ESNews.

"Until then, it could just be maybe Mayweather is scared that his name is dying a little bit because that's the fight that everyone want to see, him and Pacquiao. So he's just saying his name to bring his name back up, we don't know."

"But like I said, I respect both fighters. That's the fight that everyone want to see. So hopefully it's true."

"I would love to see that fight. Actually, I would pay a hundred bucks to see that fight."

Rios already met "Pacman" in November 2013, and got destroyed by the latter via unanimous decision. However, he still thinks that "Money" has the upperhand, should the two finally pen a fight deal.

"In my book, I might get haters, I might not, but you know, I'll go for Mayweather," he continued.

"I think Mayweather will win that fight...because Mayweather's very smart, very intelligent in that ring."

"You know, he doesn't go out there and just f****** look for knockouts. He actually takes care of himself that's why he made it this far. That's why he makes the money he makes and he's a very smart businessman. So I think, I'll give it to that fool."
