The current girlfriend of Winehouse' ex Blake-Fielder Civil, spoke about the chance of Amy's prolonged life if she had been pregnant with Fielder-Civil's baby.

Sarah Aspin, the current partner of the late singer's incarcerated ex Blake Fielder-Civil, has revealed that she would accept "it" if Amy became pregnant with Fielder-Civil. Aspin says it could have been the only thing that can save the fallen actress from her untimely death. "I think if Blake and Amy had had a baby together, she'd still be alive today," tells Aspin in an interview reported by Contact Music. "She'd have been a lovely mum. Maybe I wouldn't [be with Blake if they had a child of their own], but if I thought she'd still be alive, I'd have compromised my happiness to save her" continues Aspin in the same post.

Just before Winehouse died on the afternoon of July 23, the singer has requested to visit her ex in the prison, but Fielder-Civil denied the request because he didn't want to hurt Aspin. Aspin says this decision has been haunting Fielder-Civil and that he will "regret it forever". "They spoke for the last time a few days before she died. She asked if she could visit him and he said no. He said he didn't want to upset me" says Aspin in the same interview. "He refused because of me and Jack. Since having the baby, I think he's realised how much he loves me and he knows it would have hurt me if she'd visited" continues Aspin.

Winehouse and Fielder-Civil met in 2005, just shortly before the singer finished recording her hit album "Back to Black". The pair married in 2007, but parted ways in 2009 after a turbulent relationship filled with crack, heroin, alcohol and cocaine. It was said that Winehouse spiraled down to addiction because Fielder-Civil enabled her. According to the singer's closest friends, Winehouse never recovered even if her current boyfriend, Reg Traviss, did everything to save the soulful singer.
