'The Blacklist' season 4 episode 9 spoilers: Mole’s identity to be revealed; something could happen to Red; Liz could be returning soon [VIDEO]
"The Blacklist" returns January 5, 2017
“The Blacklist” is currently on break and fans are floating right now as what could happen in January 5. All we know for now is that a mysterious and unidentified mole has been spying on Liz and Red.

When the show returns on January, the mole who has been spying on Red (James Spader) and Liz (Megan Boone) might finally be revealed. Rumours of all sorts have been going around on who exactly this mole is and some have said that it is Samar (Mozhan Marno). Earlier, when Harold (Henry Lennix) revealed that this puts the entire country in peril, four faces were focused on screen.
These faces were of Ressler (Diego Kettenhoff), Liz, Aram (Amir Arison) and Samar. It is noteworthy that Samar was the last face to be seen. The upcoming episodes are expected to dig deeper into Samar’s past. So far, all that is revealed is that she is an Iranian national and entered Mossad after the government had her parents murdered. Nothing has been said as to whether or not she has been previously involved in any terrorist groups .
Meanwhile, a GIF was posted by the official Twitter account of “The Blacklist , ” which hints that something might have happened to Red in Season 4. The post was captioned “If we weren’t worried, we are now.” Red’ character has been virtually invincible all throughout the se ason but all that might change in this upcoming episode.
Another image of Kate Kaplan was posted which made fans eager to know what would happen to her in Season 4. When she assisted Liz in betraying Red, she almost got killed. Viewers are now raving to discover if her character will be seen on the show once again.
Earlier, it has been teased that his character still has some unfinished business in the show. One fan prediction says that she will continue her plans of having her revenge on Red, who threw her away the moment she betrayed him.
