Z30, Passport and Leap are the high-fi Smartphones of BlackBerry and they were introduced in the consecutive years from 2013 to 2015. Each of them has been a blockbuster hit, with the whole bags of tricks, listed below.

What makes BlackBerrys to be on the crest of waves?

Dimension

BlackBerry Z30 comes in 140.7 x 72 x 9.4 mm, while the BlackBerry Passport measures 128x 90.3 x 9.3 mm and the BlackBerry Leap measures 144 x 72.8 x 9.5 mm. BlackBerry Passport outweighs in the weight with 196g or 6.91 oz.

OS

BlackBerry has its exclusive OS. Hence, Z30 comes in BlackBerry OS 10.2version, while the Passport packs in the 10.1 version and the Leap leans on the 10.3.1.

Specs

Though all the versions of BlackBerry include Qualcomm Snapdragon, they have different capacities. Z30 has the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4Pro Dual core 1.7 GHz Krait; the BlackBerry Passport backup with Snapdragon 800; and the Leap has Snapdragon S4 Plus. The internal memory of Passport wins with 32 GB, while the other two have 16 GB internal memory. However, the RAM is typically the same with 2 GB. Unlike the Apple flagships, BlackBerry offers flexible, expandable memory up to 64 GB to128 GB.

Display

The display screen of Z30 comes with 5.0 inches, in the resolution of 720x1280 pixels and 294 ppi, with QWERTY keyboard. The Passport offers 1440 x 1440pixel and 453 ppi in its 4.5 inch screen with QWERTY keyboard. The Leap display unit measures 5.0 inch with 720x1280pixel or 294 ppi, with soft touch technology.

Camera and Battery life

Resolution of Z30 offers 3264x2448pixel in 8MP main camera and 2 MP in the secondary camera. The primary camera features 13 MP, in 4128x3096 pixels, while the secondary camera has 2 MP, in the Passport. The new Leap is similar to its sibling BlackBerry Z30. The battery of BlackBerry has been always durable and it offers 25 hours of battery life to all the super hit models, including Z30, Passport and the Leap.

Of course, the Canadian giant stays ahead of the pack of Apple iPhone 6, LG G4, Samsung Galaxy S6 range of products and others, with its unique brand design and specs.
