The pirates of Nassau are back with a teaser trailer of “Black Sails” Season 4. The war continues between the pirates and the British, and the video shows some scenes of upcoming battles that will be fought both on the sea as well as on land.

[Spoiler alert]

“There isn’t a good man among them. Not anymore,” a voice over in the trailer says. The voiceover goes on to say that some of the men may have been good, and they may again be good in the future. However, at the moment there is no need for “good men.” It is time for “dark men to do dark things.”

The main characters Captain Flint (Toby Stephens), John Silver (Luke Arnold), Eleanor Guthrie (Hannah New), Max (Jessica Parker Kennedy), Woodes Rogers (Luke Roberts) and Blackbeard (Ray Stevenson) are featured in the video.

A post on the official Twitter page of the TV series states that Nassau’s final chapter “will be written in blood.” Starz previously confirmed that “Black Sails” Season 4 will mark the end of the popular show.

Cast member Arnold wrote on his Twitter page that the teaser gives the fans a glimpse of the “darkness” in the final chapter. He added that the last season is “out of control.”

One question that all the fans seem to be asking is - whose voice is in the trailer? Although the producers have not revealed who it is, it appears to be that of Billy Bones (Tom Hopper), a character who played a major role in helping to build the fierce reputation of John Silver and is expected to continue those efforts next year.

“Black Sails” Season 4 is set to return on Jan. 28, 2017. The title and the plot of the premiere episode are yet to be revealed by the producers. More details are expected to be announced in the coming months.
