Filming for “Game of Thrones” Season 7 is about to begin. Most of the main cast members have already made their way to Belfast. A new report reveals how there will be a major battle in the next season, and as always the fans can expect more deaths.

[Spoiler alert]

The filming this week will focus on a sea battle involving Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan) and Theon (Alfie Allen), Watchers on the Wall reports. The two characters made an alliance with Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) in the previous season and promised to help her secure the Iron Throne, in exchange the Iron Islands were given autonomy.

Euron (Pilou Asbæk) is committed to killing his niece and nephew. According to the new plot leak, the new King of the Iron Islands will catch up with Yara and Theon, and manage to capture one of them. The two factions of the Iron Fleet will face each other in a sea battle.

There will be new alliances formed in “Game of Thrones” Season 7. To counter the threat posed by Daenerys and her forces, Euron will make an alliance with Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), who has taken the Iron Throne by murdering all her enemies in a single strike.

There will also be more deaths on the show next year. Euron will apparently kill one of the Sand Snakes. The Dorne storyline got limited screen time in the previous season. Ellaria (Indira Varma) was last seen talking with Olenna Tyrell (Diana Rigg). The Queen of Thrones is keen on getting revenge on Cersei for killing her family members.

“Game of Thrones” Season 7 is set to return in June, 2017. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date. Apart from Daenerys landing in Westeros, the other highly anticipated event is the White Walker invasion.
