Despite elaborate security arrangements for “Star Wars: Episode 8,” someone managed to film the cast and crew on the production set. Three new videos have surfaced online that show the filming of scenes related to the planet Ahch-To.

[Spoiler alert]

The first of the two videos posted on Making Star Wars shows what appears to be the body suit of a massive alien. The scene was apparently filmed in Ireland. It is not clear which of the cast members were involved for this shot.

Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) were last seen on Ahch-To, along with Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) and the soccer droid BB-8 near the Millennium Falcon. The next movie is expected to focus on the Jedi training of the young protagonist.

The training of Rey may be interrupted by the Knights of Ren. The second leaked video shows men in black clothes kneeling. There is also a lot of smoke created by a machine, which suggests that they may have filmed an action sequence.

Will Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and his men fight with Luke and his new apprentice in “Star Wars: Episode 8”? Ben fought with Rey in “The Force Awakens” and the movie teased the possibility of him knowing some details about her background. The next movie is expected to shed more light on the back story of the protagonist.

A third leaked video from the production set has been posted in this report by Making Star Wars. The video is again from Ireland, which stands in for Ahch-To. The video doesn’t reveal much about what was filmed.

“Star Wars: Episode 8” is set to be released on Dec. 15, 2017 in Australia. The movie is being directed by Rian Johnson. Filming has already wrapped, and the movie is currently in the editing/post-production phase.
