Yes you read that right. Stars arrive at the stylish white carpet of Billboard Awards 2012 in Las Vegas. And just before the party starts, these famous music artists flaunt their style as they arrive.

From Carrie Underwood's Cinderella-like gown to Miley Cyrus' ultra revealing fashion choice, celebrities made it a point to dress to impress at the white carpet for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. It took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas yesterday, May 20.

And although the fashion for this year can be classified as a bit mediocre, some music artists like Taylor Swift and Katy Perry managed to dazzle in their gowns.

Katy Perry chose to bring along a very unlikely date in the form of her grandmother. The popstar wore a full-length lilac gown to match her purple hair. While country singer Taylor Swift impressed everyone with her floor-length red Ellie Saab gown.

Although Justin Bieber might not be winning big for his choice of fashion at the arrivals, he definitely made up for it by winning "Top Social Artist."
