Sony has been improving its PS4 console with various firmware updates, with an upcoming one potentially already in the works. Apart from the new features, however, there is now also talk of an improved console in the works.

Dubbed to be a high-performance PS4 model, this will reportedly be considered as one of the more powerful consoles to date. And already, Sony is considering it as one of its possible PS4 options in the market, DualShockers reported.

This came from Sony’s own Senior Vice President Masayu Ito, who had hinted that the new technology behind the PS4 makes it adaptable to changes for better performance. Even with that, however, Sony has not yet confirmed that the company will release a technically-superior gaming console anytime soon.

Given that the company is still busy focusing on other improvements to bring to the PS4, it may not be the time to start speculating on a new PS4 in the near future. But the fact that there is a possibility to conduct improvements in the future is appealing, especially once more games and features are added to the hardware.

In related PS4 news, Sony has also release the list of participants, exhibitors and playable games for the PlayStation Experience 2015. Slated to be held in San Francisco on Dec. 5 and 6, the event will be seeing a lot of activities for PlayStation fans.

Detailed over the PlayStation Blog, there is a long list of playable games that fans can dive into. Among these are “Amplitude,” “Blind,” “Death Tales,” “Drifter,” “Death’s Gambit,” “FutureGrind,” “Invisible, Inc.,” “Moon Hunters,” “SmuggleCraft,” “Severed,” “The King of Fighters XIV” and “Viking Squad,” among others.

This is far from the official list, according to Sony, as the company has also confirmed upcoming panelists, freebies and other activities to make the San Francisco event special. There are some teasers as to who the developers and publishers present in the PlayStation Experience 2015 event are. These include Square Enix, EA, Naughty Dog, Bungie, 2K, Treyarch, Capcom, Ubisoft, Double Fine, Bandai Namco Games, Santa Monica Studio, WB Games and Maximum Games, among others.

Tickets are currently being sold for the event. But interested participants should aim to buy as soon as possible. The Early Bird tickets as well as the Capcom Cup VIP tickets are already sold out.
