Destiny
"Destiny" is getting another update 2.0.2 in November. Bungie

When Bungie had detailed what the team had done in creating the King’s Fall Raid Hard Mode, the developer mentioned that it did more than just up the ante in terms of difficulty. However, it appears that that there are a couple of talented Guardians who have managed to keep their cool during the hard mode.

The first team who had managed to defeat the King’s Fall on Hard Mode was Clan Forever LivE. Bungie had acknowledged the team’s victory, but what’s even more impressive is how long it took the team to beat it. According to GameSpot, this feat was accomplished in 90 minutes, which is impressive by any standards, and given that the mode only came out over the weekend last Oct. 23.

Previously, Bungie stated that the Hard Mode will bring in challenge for “Destiny” players in more ways than one. All of the strategies that the normal mode of King’s Fall Raid will reportedly be shaken. And while there is already a team that had beaten the new mode, this does not mean that other players will not be continually challenged by it.

For fans who have yet to try out the raid mode, they will need to be at least at a 300 to 320 Light level. The loot rewards that can be obtained in the King’s Fall Hard Mode of “Destiny” are somewhere between 310 and 320.

The introduction of the King’s Fall Raid Hard Mode has been one of the new features added following The Taken King expansion. While there the latest DLC has brought about major changes in “Destiny,” there are some reports that have pointed to the fact that this is not yet the Year Two that the developer has in mind for the game.

Tech Insider managed to uncover a source that points to possible information on what Bungie plans for the second year of “Destiny.” The sources comes from a Reddit user who had talked about the game being called “Destiny 2: The Shattered Suns.”

The information checks out on what Bungie previously promised for Guardians, that players do not need to abandon their current Guardians. The main difference is that the “Destiny 2” may focus on Osiris. This is a major change, considering that the most that fans are able to refer to this character is via the Trials of Osiris.

As per the document, Osiris is revealed to be a warlock who had vanished. Osiris did not make it to the cut as an original story character, but if the goal of the developer is to expand the universe and lore of “Destiny,” then going back to known and referenced characters in the game is a way to go.

Bungie has yet to reveal more about its plans for “Destiny” in the coming years. But for The Taken King expansion, the developer has promised that there will be more content coming.
