Electronic Arts and Visceral Games once again expands “Battlefield: Hardline” with the announcement of a new DLC that puts heists in the limelight. The upcoming DLC dubbed Robbery is set to include a slew of new weapons to the game’s arsenal.

Both the publisher and developer have not released any detailed information regarding the upcoming DLC. However, the official website for “Battlefield: Hardline” states that Robbery will add four new weapons to Hardline’s arsenal, along with two new gadgets, vehicle upgrades and new maps.

Meanwhile, the trailer shown at Gamescom suggests that Visceral Games added a total of 11 new weapons. The list of possible weapons for the DLC includes assault rifles such as F2000, MDC, Famas and RPK, an FN57 handgun, a Scorpion (CZ 3A1) PDW, a Barrett M82.50 Cal Semi-Auto sniper rifle, a Saiga 12 shotgun, an M1 Carbine, an MP7 PDW and a throwing knife.

YouTube user Westie analysed the Gamescom 2015 gameplay footage of “Battlefield: Hardline” and said that the DLC has an impressive number of weapons with various characteristics. The video below shows Westie pointing out some features that may come with the DLC.

Aside from the array of weapons, the DLC is also set to bring a new game mode called Squad Heist. According to Visceral Games, the new game mode is a tribute to the beloved Squad Rush in “Battlefield 4.” The mode has three distinct stages, the first two of which require the criminals to break into a vault and get loot. The last stage requires them to escape from the scene.

The new DLC is expected to launch in September, just a few months after the release of the Criminal Activity expansion pack back in June. Aside from the upcoming DLC, "Hardline" is also set to get a couple of add-ons in the near future, the first of which is Gateway, which is set to launch before the year ends. Betrayal, the second expansion pack, may reportedly come sometime in early 2016.
