One of the questions in the minds of many fans is about who the villain is in “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Astrophysicist and director Neil deGrasse Tyson gave his insight about who may be portrayed as the villain in the movie, in a recent interview.

Neil deGrasse Tyson is one of the many people whose voice can be heard in the trailer of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” He appeared on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” to talk about “Star Talk,” a TV show on the National Geographic Channel that he directed. The video of the interview has been posted on the YouTube channel of Comedy Central.

In the interview, Neil pointed out some of the aspects of the Man of Steel that help shape a negative perception among the people. He said that unlike Batman, who “reports” to Commissioner Gordon, Superman doesn’t report to anyone that the people know about.

“He just behaves in whatever way he wants,” Neil said about Superman. He contends that the public perception will be influenced by the notion that Batman is following the wishes of the people through the Mayor and the Commissioner and Superman is not.

The trailer of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” begins with some people talking about the Man of Steel being an alien and that power corrupts. The love for the superhero among the people is described as the human tendency to follow men with “great power.”

There also chants of “go home” directed at Superman in the trailer and a large statue of the superhero is seen spray painted with the words “false god.” But the trailer leaves the fans guessing about who the villain will be in the movie.

Jeremy Irons, who plays the role of Bruce Wayne’s butler Alfred in “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” can be heard talking about “rage” in the trailer. Ben Affleck has an angry look, as he looks at his Batsuit. The movie is slated to be released in March 2016 and fans of the franchise have big expectations from the movie, especially after the huge successes of the Marvel movies at the box office.
