Nick Viall’s season of “The Bachelor” may have finished with a little controversy, but the eliminated women have room for redemption in the upcoming “The Bachelor In Paradise” season. Runner up Raven Gates already confirmed her participation, and her fellow contestants are considering joining her -- and one has an eye out for franchise favourite Chad Johnson.

As Entertainment Tonight reported, Gates broke the news during the series’ “After The Final Rose” special. Gates was able to talk face-to-face with Viall about their breakup, and she wished him well in the end. “I’m happy that you found your happy ending and that you weren’t rejected,” she said. Gates even added that she can see Viall marrying winner Vanessa Grimaldi one day.

When Gates was asked about what she is currently doing, she answered that she was “always looking for love.” This prompted host Chris Harrison to invite her to join the cast of this year's “Bachelor In Paradise.” Gates confirmed that she had heard of the show, and she believed if Viall could find love then so could she. Harrison then directly asked if she would go on the show, and she exclaimed that she would.

As for the other women of “The Bachelor,” E! News caught up with them backstage during the “Women Tell All” taping. Alexis Waters said she would be up for a stint on the island, particularly because Johnson has confirmed his participation. “I think Chad is kind of funny,” she said. Daniel Maltby and Kristina Shulman, on the other hand, were a little less confident in joining the upcoming show. Maltby did confirm, however, that she has her eyes on Chris Soules and Chase McNary Brody.

One particular contestant that fans have been expecting to join “Paradise” is Corinne Olympios. But she told the publication that the production team has not asked her to go on the show. “I don’t think so,” she said. “It’s too early to tell right now.” Viall did advise her to join.

The casting of “Bachelor In Paradise” has not yet been confirmed. But now that Viall’s season of “The Bachelor” is over, US network ABC might start rolling out the information soon. Furthermore, it is possible that older contestants will confirm their participation at their own time. Filming of the spinoff usually begins around June, in order to give the crew enough time for its standard August debut.
