Until Nick Viall proposes to someone on the current season of “The Bachelor,” there will be no official announcement from US network ABC regarding the final cast for “Bachelor In Paradise” season 4. Despite this, however, some old contestants have already set the record straight on their future involvement -- Chad Johnson is in, and Ashley I is out.

Chad told Us Weekly that he will be returning to the set of “Bachelor In Paradise” this year. Those that are already members of the “Bachelor” nation will remember him from JoJo Fletcher’s season of “The Bachelorette” and then again on BIP last year. However, he was prematurely kicked off last season because of his aggressive behaviour.

Chad was unable to say who would be joining him on his second attempt at “Bachelor In Paradise,” but he did say there are a few women he would like to see. “Too many to mention, based on looks,” he said. “But when it comes to contestants on these shows, you never know what they’re truly like until you’ve met them in person.”

It is unlikely for the public to learn exactly who the upcoming contestants are, but there is one bachelorette that will not be making an appearance anymore. Hollywood Life caught up with Ashley Iaconetti last week, and the reality star confirmed that she would not be on “Bachelor In Paradise” season 4. “I wouldn’t torture myself,” she said.

She then clarified that she would not be returning for the upcoming season, but that she could not rule out ever returning to the show or the franchise in general. Ashley I explained that she wants to focus on her career away from the cameras. She currently has a podcast entitled “I Don’t Get It,” as well as a feature on Access Hollywood as an expert on all things related to “The Bachelor,” and she would like to put her energy into these things for the time being.

“Bachelor In Paradise” does not usually start airing until August, so it is unlikely for ABC to announce who audiences can look forward to seeing before then. However, it is not unprecedented for some contestants to reveal their intentions before the network does. As such, it is possible to hear more about the BIP cast before the official announcement is made.
