The closure of the 21st season of “Dancing With The Stars” has made way for the buzz surrounding the next season of the hit show.

The newest entrant to the list of the possible contenders of the show is “The Bachelor” star Ben Higgins. According to an International Business Times report, Higgins is all set to appear in the 2016 version of “Dancing With The Stars.”

The 27-year-old star already has an idea of his stint on the show. “The Bachelor” is slated to be premiered on Jan. 4, 2016 and Higgins is already prepared to star in the next show after “The Bachelor” goes off the floor, the website reported. Higgins is a software salesman who is originally a native of Colorado.

"I think I'm excited about what experiences are next in life. Just like I never expected to be on ‘The Bachelorette,’ I never expected to be the ‘Bachelor,’ I don't know what to expect next and I'm open to anything. I have a great life. I love my life here in Denver. I don’t want to change my life, but if there’s opportunity to enhance it, I’m all for I,” the website quoted Higgins.

“Dancing With the Stars” is slated to return to our TV screens with its 22nd season in spring 2016.

However, Higging will not be the first star to make an appearance on both the show back-to-back. Chris Soules and Sean Lowe are “The Bachelor” alums who stepped into the world of dancing reality shows after starring in the ABC dating reality show.

Higgins has already debuted his moves on television in the last season of "The Bachelorette." Higgins performed with bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe in a two-step competition in one of the oldest dance halls in the country.

The 20th season of “The Bachelor” is slated to hit the screens on ABC on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at 8 p.m. EST.
