“Arrow” season 5 might unveil more about the mystery behind the identity of Prometheus. Reports claim that Taliaal Ghul (Lexa Doig) will soon be introduced. And what could be more exciting than to learn that Prometheus and Talia have a connection.

So far, what viewers have learned about Prometheus’ identity is that the villain was implied to be the son of Justin Claybourne (Garwin Sanford). Justin Claybourne is a pharmaceutical CEO killed by the time Oliver (Stephen Amell) was staring out with his career as “Hood.”

Screen Rush notes that Prometheus spent five years training to seek revenge on the lead character. The outlet states that Talia al Ghul might have aided in said training. It could be the same case as when Nyssa and the League of Assassins helped Sara with her training.

In the latest episode of “Arrow,” Team Arrow learned that Artemis (Madison McLaughlin) betrayed them. Black Canary appeared and it was a happy surprise. Oliver and the rest of the team welcomed Black Canary. However, it did not take long before Laurel (Katie Cassidy) utilises the Canary Cry to injure everyone.

Fans are also hoping to see more of Oliver and Felicity’s (Emily Bett Rickards) relationship. Stephen Amell previously addressed the concern through TVLine saying, “I think that it’s important to remember that relationships on the show don’t have to be only defined by romance."

The actor has also talked about “Arrow” season 5. “The first two episodes [of Season 5] refocuses us on what the core mission of the show should be, and that to me is very exciting,” Amell said.

It is expected that more of Prometheus and Talia will be revealed when “Arrow” returns. It is slated to be back to the US small screens on Jan. 25 on CW. It airs on Fox 8 in Australia.
