When the iPhone 7 launch craze seems to be dying down a bit, Apple’s MacBook Pro 2016 is taking centre stage. It’s a widely-anticipated device and rumours suggest that the Cupertino-based tech giant may unveil the device this October. However, some suggest that Apple will wait for the Intel Kaby Lake processors as it would make the MacBook Pro 2016 a must-have.

It will be interesting to see whether Apple decides to release the MacBook Pro 2016 with minor upgrades or make it unique with top-class specs and never-seen-before features. Rumours suggest the upcoming MacBook has been given a major makeover with innovative designs, specs and features.

According to Mobile & Apps, Apple will make the MacBook Pro 2016 thinner and lighter also introducing the innovative hinge design. More colour options are also a possibility. The company seems to be very serious about removing the 3.5mm headphone jack from its future devices as it is a way to show the world that Apple has the courage to think ahead. Thus, the MacBook Pro 2016, just like iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, may also have the Bluetooth AirPods.

As per Apple Insider, MacBook Pro 2016’s physical function keys may also be replaced by an OLED display touch bar that could have modifiable software keys that will adapt to the functions and requirements of various apps.

However, the most incredible change that is expected in the Apple MacBook Pro 2016 would be its processor. If at all Apple decides to release the device in October, then it would have to settle for the also-powerful sixth generation Intel Skylake processors. These processors are fast enough to provide a major boost to the device’s speed.

The chipset may also help in better battery performance that can be more than just impressive. Now that Apple has introduced the Apple Pay for Mac, fans may be wowed to see an advanced Touch ID fingerprint sensor included in the MacBook Pro 2016.

Some unconfirmed reports also stated that the device may have a detachable touch screen. An improvement in resolution is also highly possible. A highly upgraded Apple Pencil could feature with the Apple MacBook Pro 2016.
