The Apple iPhone 6S, the company's next generation smartphone, will be out in September. Although its expected launch is only less than a month away, supposed leaked images of the device have reportedly been leaked to the Internet.

As seen in the photos, the iPhone 6S will be taking on a whole new look. That is, it will come out in a color that Apple has never used before - pink. As soon as the images were posted online - majority of which were Chinese websites, such as Daliulian, they quickly became viral all over the Internet.

Although multiple online publications have been led to believe that these pink iPhone 6S pictures are new and fresh ones, and that they will be out in September, 9to5Mac is convinced that the leaks were actually quite dated. Apparently, the pink iPhone images were dated back in March. However, it was only very recently that the pictures became viral. Still, regardless of when the images were first released online, they still give the public a hint on what to expect on Sept. 9.

This may be the first time for Apple to cater to gadget lovers who also love the color pink, but luxury brand Amosu had once launched special iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 smartphone units in this color in honor of Valentine's Day, according to Tech Times. Plus, the iPhone 5C also had a hot pink variant. The leaked iPhone 6S photos, however, indicate that the device will have a more pastel kind of pink.

Ming-chi Kuo, famed analyst, had also recently predicted that it is very likely Apple will be launching the iPhone 6S in pink. However, instead of a muted pink shade, he believes that the Cupertino company will be heading for a rose gold option - just like the color that was featured on the Apple Watch.
