The iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus are pegged to get showcased to the world on Sept. 9. Rumours are rife that the carrier and retailer partners of Apple will start the iPhone 6S preorders from Sept. 11. Both the handsets will be available for purchase from Sept. 18. Even carriers in Germany are tipped to start selling the iPhone 6 S and the iPhone 6S Plus from Sept. 18.

There are three major cellular operators in Germany namely, O2, Vodafone and T-Mobile DE. According to Apple Insider, two out of the aforementioned German carriers are expected to release the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus from Sept. 18. Hence, it is likely that all three carriers will be offering the forthcoming Apple flagships from that day.

Apple is expected to follow its usual launch strategy for releasing the new iPhones. It involves releasing the new iPhones on the second Friday after the announcement day.

Germany belongs to the starting batch of countries where Apple is known to release its new iPhones first. In indicates that the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus will also be available on Sept. 18 for other countries like the U.S, the U.K, China, Australia, France, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan that also belong to the initial batch.

The iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus will be sporting a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screens, respectively, Business Insider reported. The display will be powered with Force Touch technology.

Both the handsets will be featuring the Apple A9 chip and 2 GB of RAM. The main camera will be of 12 MP that will be driven by Sony’s RGBW technology that will make it possible to snap amazing photos in low-lighting conditions. On the front, it is expected to feature a 5 MP selfie shooter.
