Best Buy will be offering standard AppleCare protection for Mac as well as AppleCare+ service for various Apple products like iPhones, iPads and the Apple Watch. Since the retailer giant has partnered with Apple, it will be offering the Apple support service at its retail stores. It will start offering the AppleCare plans from the third week of September which is the same week the iPhone 6S is expected to be released.

The third week, which starts on Sept. 13, is apparently few days after the rumoured Sept. 9 launch date for the upcoming iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus handsets, Apple Insider reported. Since Apple has not revealed the launch date for the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus, Mac Rumors claims that both the handsets will be launched in the first or second week of September.

Both handsets will be available at stores about a week later, so Best Buy’s AppleCare and AppleCare+ services are available for the new iPhones. The AppleCare plans that will be made available by Best Buy will offer the same AppleCare warranties that Apple offers along with the standard warranty from Best Buy, 9 to 5 Mac reported.

A customer who purchases an Apple product from Best Buy along with AppleCare, will have the chance to resolve any issue with it through Apple or Best Buy. Apple Insider further states that the AppleCare for Mac include warranty service for repairs and call for three years.

The AppleCare+ service include two years of coverage for the iPhones, iPads and the Apple Watch. For owners of Apple Watch Edition, an additional third year of coverage is available. Customers who wish to avail AppleCare+ for the Apple Watch Sport, they will have to shell out $49 to avail the service.

AppleCare+ for classic iPods and iPod Touch is available for $59. Owners of standard Apple Watch can avail it for $69. iPhone and iPad customers will have to spend $99 for availing AppleCare+. The cost of the service for Mac devices varies across is different variants.
