The Apple iPad Pro is back in news with a new set of leaked specifications. Plus, the latest leak reportedly confirms the display size of the tablet as 12.9-inch.

Apparently, a new leak from an anonymous source familiar with Apple’s future plans told Apple Insider that, the tech giant is working on a humongous tablet dubbed iPad Pro or iPad Plus. Even though the iPad Pro release date has not been confirmed yet, this new leak reveals key configurations of the upcoming device. The iPad Pro will reportedly come with Apple's Force Touch technology that has the capability to analyse “how hard a user presses the display.” It is worth reminding that, this Force Touch feature is already part of the recently released Apple Watch’s display/dial and MacBook 2015.

In addition to the killer Force Touch technology, the Apple iPad Pro will apparently house a Type-C port that lets the device user to plug in the USB cable. Moreover, a case prototype reportedly showed a second port on the side of the slate, along with the Lightning connection at the tail-end of the tablet, says Phone Arena. However Apple Insider says, at this point, there’s no confirmation to ascertain if there will be a second port in the slate.

On the other hand, the iPad Pro will reportedly house a stylus that is likely to connect to the slate via Bluetooth. Like other advanced styluses, this one will also come with the pressure-sensitive input. To further corroborate this claim, Ming Chi-Kuo, the credible KGI Securities analyst, has apparently told earlier that Apple will offer an optional stylus for the iPad Pro, notes Apple Insider.

Furthermore, the latest leak also talks about an NFC chip housed in the iPad Pro. This particular chip will reportedly let the tablet to double as a point-of-sale (POS) terminal along with the Apple Pay support. Speaking of key iPad Pro specifications, the tablet will apparently be powered by the upcoming Apple A9 processor, which is also expected to be housed in the upcoming iPhone 7.

Other rumoured iPad Pro features include the following dimension 223 mm x 306 mm x 7.2 mm, along with a quad speaker sound system, optional QWERTY keyboard and a quick charging feature. Nonetheless, Apple has not confirmed the iPad Pro specifications thus far.
