The latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade will be released by various brands like Xiaomi, Huawei, Lenovo, Asus, OnePlus, BlackBerry, and Nvidia to their devices from the beginning of this year. An official list that has surfaced has revealed the names of the devices from the aforementioned smartphone OEMs that are going to receive Android 6.0 upgrade soon.

According to GSM Arena, the following smartphones will be upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow from the start of 2016.

Xiaomi

Xiaomi will be releasing Android 6.0 update for various smartphones like Redmi Note 2, Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime and Mi 4i that were released this year. The upgrade will be also available for older smartphones such as Xiaomi Mi 4, Mi Note, Mi Note Pro and Mi 3.

Huawei

Huawei released various devices in the previous year. The Huawei Nexus 6P was launched in October 2015 with Android 6.0 onboard and from the start of this year, the firmware upgrade will be available for Ascend P8, Ascend P8 Max, Ascend G8, Huawei Mate S, Honor 6 Plus, Honor 7 Plus and Honor 7. The update will be also hitting 2014 devices like Mate 7, Honor 6, Honor 4C, 4X, and Ascend G7.

Lenovo

Lenovo too will be releasing Android 6.0 upgrade for well-received smartphones from 2015. The firmware will be available for K3 Note, A7000 Plus, A7000, Vibe S1 and Vibe P1. The subsidiary product of the company, ZUK Z1 is also going to receive Android M update soon.

Asus

The ZenFone 2 series, ZenFone 2 Laser, ZenFone 2 Deluxe, ZenFone Selfie, ZenFone Go and Asus Padfone S will be the first set of Asus devices to receive Android 6.0 upgrade from the beginning of this year.

OnePlus

OnePlus is working OxygenOS flavoured Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade for its devices like OnePlus X, OnePlus 2 and OnePlus One.

Other Devices

The Micromax Canvas A1, Karbonn Sparkle V, Spice Dream Uno, Symphony Road A50, Cherry Mobile One, MyPhone Uno, Mito Impact A10, Nexian Journey One are Android One powered devices that are going to be blessed with Android 6.0 upgrade very soon.

BlackBerry too will be releasing Android 6.0 upgrade for its BlackBerry Priv from the start of 2016. The Nvidia Shield Tablet K1 is also slated to receive Android M upgrade soon.
