American rapper Azealia Banks has learned a new way to get publicity. The 22-year-old singer loves to bash Lady Gaga on Twitter every now and then. After Lady Gaga's most successful iTunes performance, Azelia Banks took to Twitter by saying that Gaga is "out of ideas" after allegedly copying the rapper's mermaid theme.

'212' rapper Azealia is accusing Gaga of copying the theme for her Mermaid tour. Gaga announced last week that her Camden Roundhouse London gig would be a mermaid-themed performance.

"Of COURSE gaga wants to play mermaid again..... Pffft. Not picking a fight. Just all looks soo familiar.... To me." The '212' star added: "It's just .... Late."

"@LADYGAGA Yaaaaaas bitch!!! You better promote the head negress During YOUR performance !!! #promo #mermaid #huge," Azealia tweeted before Gaga took to the stage

"On a scale of 1-10, how out of ideas is Lady Gaga?" she added.

Gaga and Azealia were also due to work on a track together, titled "Ratchet," which is still set to appear on Gaga's new album "ARTPOP."

"I actually never even finished ratchet. She told her fans that backstage and the rumor started. Never even sent the verse," the 22-year-old rapper said of the collaboration.

Azealia also hit out at Gaga for writing an entire song on fashion designer Donatella Versace. Lady Gaga had penned a track on her new album ARTPOP titled "Donatella." Azelia never missed the opportunity to talk about the collaboration saying earlier fashion houses had musicians as inspiration but Lady Gaga has done the opposite.

"It's interesting to see how the music industry is so inspired by the fashion industry now... It used to be the other way around," she said on Twitter.

"Musicians are writing full on Ode's to fashion houses, when it seems as though entire seasons would inspired by actresses and musicians," Banks added.

Gaga has however revealed that she got her inspiration from Botticelli's Mermaid painting and also posted a picture of it on her Twitter account earlier. It's clear that the singer is busy working on with her new tracks for the album "ARTPOP." Gaga garnered good reviews for all her songs she introduced at iTunes festival including "Manicure," "Sex Dreams," "Aura" and four more new tracks.
