It was an elimination no one was prepared for since even frontrunner Angie Miller herself, could not believe the curtain has been closed and rolled down for her on American Idol 2013 Top Final 3 elimination night.

Angie Miller won two of the three rounds on vote night on Idol with both Jimmy Lovine and the judges picking her as winner for the night and Candice Glover winning the Idol production’s confidence with her heart-stopping performance Wednesday.

Critics knew she won the night. Combined with good looks and great song choices and an extra talent with the piano, Angie was a sure finalist on the Idol finale showdown. Until America says otherwise.

Even the judges was stunned at the result read by host, Ryan Seacrest. Angie was not ready to be “set free” of the Idol showdown, and every Tom, Dick and Harry knew she deserves to be on the stage with Candice Glover more than Kree Harrison.

But the ballots have spoken. Not even Angie’s increasing supporters were able to save her for the most important week for any of the three Idol lady finalists.

What could be more stunning and jaw-dropping decision America has made this week was the fact that Angie never had - - even once - - a chance to be in the bottom three, or two for that matter. The 19-year-old contestant from Beverly, Mass. has consistently impressed the audience with her song choices and her commanding star power. Angie Miller was sure to be in the final two this season, if not America’s next Idol.

With Kree’s surprising win to advance in the Idol finale, critics deem the final two battle as “lopsided,” as clearly, Kree, always the underdog, is the least deserving hopeful to hold the microphone on Idol final presentation, scheduled on May 15 at Nokia Theater.

What could be more telling is the reaction Kree had when she heard America’s voice on elimination night - - apparently “uncertain whether or not to cheer for her win or feel sorry for her hysteric friend, Angie - - when the decision was finally announced.
