Will Angie Miller continue the winning streak she started to own as Hollywood week began on “Idol” Season 12? Or does Candice Glover have greater chances of stealing her microphone than Kree Harrison? More questions have been popping up on the minds of America as the show’s final showdown comes to a close.

Angie Miller had been slapped big time when all of the judges of Idol Season 12 sang in one tune over her Rihanna’s “Diamonds” cover. The judges were not impressed by her song choice - -the first since Idol’s Hollywood week. Not a very good way to begin with new things considering millions of eyes are on her, with only two other hopefuls to weigh in before the show’s finale.

Angie was a strong favorite from Hollywood days and up until Top 7 finals. But does she still have what it takes to be the American Idol 2013 winner? Does Candice Glover have a chance to steal the microphone from her? Or Kree Harrison for that matter. Angie Miller has been suffering a lot of rough moments on American Idol. Rough it is if her followers would take a look at Angie’s performances and presence on Idol stage weeks ago. She was the strongest Idol contender since Hollywood days, and she had remained the number one frontrunner for Idol until Top 5 final episode on Idol. She won the night on first top four episode only to lose it again on second Top Final Four last week.

The 18-year-old Idol contestant from Beverly, Massachusetts, had always shined week after week with her song choice and her connection to the audience. She brought out the sadness in Beatles with her rendition of “Yesterday” on Beatles week, like no other. Angie also made impressed in Jessie J’s “Nobody is Perfect” (Las Vegas round) to Colton Dixon’s “Never Gone” (Top 20 for women) to Beyonce’s “I was Here” (her “victory song” to Top 10), among others.

Then came Candice Glover.
No one has ever suspected that the low-key, unassuming, “always has been the 3rd and 4th place winner on Idol” would shine like Candice has. She gave America goosies with her song choices on Top 6 episode on Idol 2013 as she performed “Don't Make Me over” and “Love Song” by The Cure.

Her Top 6 performance had even prompted Mariah to get up from her Idol judge seat and showered her with confetti glitters. It was a real Idol moment and Candice stayed on top on Top 5 performance last week as she continued to shine with solid performances.

Kree Harrison owns the stage with her country songs. But this season is all about Angie and Candice. There’s no doubt that Kree can follow footsteps of non-Idol winner but making good numbers in the chart. Take Chris Daughtry, Katharine McPhee, Casey Abrams and more. It’s not her season but it sure could be Angie and Candice in the final two.

Unlike in previous seasons of American Idol, there were always sure winners. Things fall into place the way they have appeared to have been mapped on Idol. But no one can really tell on Idol. Shocking twists have continued to surprise audience. Janelle Arthur wasn’t saved when everyone thought she could have had one more week. The Powerful Final Four had two weeks to win the audience and their votes.

Angie disappointed and wowed audience in two consecutive weeks. But her strong fanbase is keeping her. Having a powerful voice with the right song choice: this is what Angie is known for and if she keeps this up, she may have a chance to be the next American Idol. Or does she?
