Lenovo today announced two variants of its YOGA 700 convertible laptop with four usage modes for superior performance and portability. It’s apt for avid travelers that need to carry thin and light gadgets while on the go.

The device will be available in Australia starting November.

The Lenovo YOGA 700 comes in 11-inch and 14-inch screen sizes. The 11-inch YOGA 700 will be sold by JB Hi-Fi starting at AU$1,099 whereas the 14-inch YOGA 700 will be retailed by JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and Officeworks with price starting at AU$1,399.

In the U.S., the 11-inch version will cost $649 while the 14-inch version will retail for $799.

Lenovo YOGA is thinner and powerful than ever with its Windows 10 and Intel’s latest processor, said Lenovo. The device can be converted into four modes: laptop, stand, tent and tablet. It will be shipped with Accu Type backlit keyboard that makes typing easier than ever in dark environments.

The smaller 11-inch convertible Yoga 700 is perfect for business travelers. The device weighs only 1.1 kg (2.4 pounds) and just 15.8 mm thick. It provides seven hours of battery life to deliver seamless and powerful performance.

“We know fast performance, easy portability, and rich sound and display are features consumers expect in a laptop today,” said Johnson Jia, senior vice president, PC Business Group, Lenovo.

There is a larger variant as well, with a 14-inch display especially designed for enhanced portability.

“With Intel’s latest 6th Gen Core i7 processor, optional NVIDIA GeForce 940M graphics card and up to 8 GB DDR3L memory, the 14-inch YOGA 700 packs powerful performance,” claims Lenovo is a press release. With up to 256 GB SSD storage on board, the 14-inch Lenovo YOGA assures smoother launching of apps and faster transfer of files.

Both the variants come with 10-point multi-touch Full HD IPS display and Dolby DS1.0 Home Theatre certified stereo speakers. Both models come packed with Windows 10 on board including premium multimedia features.
