Lenovo has unveiled new devices that enrich its Yoga line up. The Lenovo Yoga 900 is the world’s thinnest Intel Core convertible laptop while the Yoga Home 900 is a smart and portable all-in-one desktop.

“We studied real user needs to make them as thin and light as possible for the portability that they need, while upping the PCs’ performance and refining the Yoga’s signature watchband hinge for an even smoother rotation to switch between modes,” said Dilip Bhatia, vice president, Worldwide Marketing and User Experience, PC & Enterprise Business Group for Lenovo in a press release.

Lenovo Yoga 900

Powered by a 6th generation Intel Core i7 processor, the Lenovo Yoga 900 is a thin, light and convertible laptop with four usage modes. The device can be converted into a laptop, a stand, a tent or a tablet with the help of its watchband hinge.

The hinge can be rotated smoothly to flip and fold the device in different modes. Windows 10 Continuum also helps users effortlessly switch the Lenovo Yoga 900 between laptop and tablet modes.

Lenovo Yoga 900 features a 13.3-inch QHD IPS display with 3200 x1800 resolution. With up to 16 GB of RAM, the device provides reliable and faster experience with minimum noise and 30 percent improved cooling system.

The super light Lenovo Yoga 900 houses JBL stereo speakers and Dolby Audio Premium for immersive and powerful sound. Starting at AU$2,199, the device can be purchased at the official Lenovo website from October.

Yoga Home 900

With the improved Aura 3.0 interface, this all-in-One versatile desktop house hundreds of new education, entertainment and productivity apps to further augment the user experience. With a 27-inch touch screen display, the Yoga Home 900 provides a full desktop computing experience.

The thin and light portable desktop can be used from any corner the house. Powered by an Intel 5th generation Core i7 processor and an optional NVIDIA GeForce 940A graphics, the device boasts a battery life of up to three hours. Windows 10 has added incredible features like Cortana, its personal digital assistant, and the new Edge browser.

“We worked closely behind the scenes with Lenovo to ensure its new PCs really brought to life the best of Windows 10, and we’re excited to see customers’ reactions to their new Yoga 900 and Yoga Home 900,” said Joe Belfiore, corporate vice president, Operating Systems Group at Microsoft.

The Aura 3.0 interface brings enhanced photo facial recognition and improved editing features. The Aura Store comes with hundreds of new entertainment, productivity and education apps. Lenovo has yet to provide local pricing details but confirmed the device will be available later this year at select retail stores.
