Lenovo added two new tablets in its much appreciated Android powered YOGA series - the YOGA Tab 3 Pro and YOGA Tab 3. Dubbed as the “Best Entertainment Tablets” at the IFA 2015 in Berlin, Lenovo’s newest YOGA tablet series aims to give a new experience to different entertainment activities.

“The latest YOGA Tab 3 series represents the epitome of entertainment for users on the go and home alike, realizing a whole new level of visual and auditory experience never before possible on a tablet platform,” said Jeff Meredith, General Manager and Vice President, Tablet Business Unit, Lenovo in a press release.

The YOGA Tab 3 comes in two variants, one featuring an 8-inch and one with 10-inch screen, both with 1280x800 resolution. Despite higher screen resolution and powerful speaker, the device still boasts a longer battery life as Lenovo claims it to be the best go-anywhere video tablet. Both these models have front-facing stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound which provides unparalleled audio experience.

A new rotating camera with nifty gesture control adorns both of the models. The 180-degree rotating camera enables users to take photos and videos at nearly any angle. The LTE-supported 8-inch YOGA Tab 3 houses a 6200 mAh battery while the 10-inch version has an 8700 mAh battery. Additionally, both tablets feature Lenovo’s "AnyPen," which allows the users to write on the screen.

In the official press release, Lenovo also revealed that the premium YOGA Tab 3 Pro boasts a virtualised Dolby Atmos experience over built-in speakers. Additionally, the four front-facing powerful JBL speakers elevate the sound quality and the built-in 70-inch projector optimises Netflix. The pre-loaded Netflix app also offer personalised recommendations.

“We are excited for the fantastic viewing experience Netflix members will have on the YOGA Tab 3 Pro," said Neil Hunt, Chief Product Officer at Netflix.

John Couling, Senior Vice President E-Media Business Group, Dolby Laboratories explained that the combination of Dolby and Netflix in the Lenovo Tab 3 Pro delivers a premium Dolby Audio surround sound with HD video.With its SmartDisplay technology, the sleek YOGA Tab 3 Pro delivers rich colours and significantly sharp images.

Moreover, the tablet includes new attractive features like Smart Window 2.0 for enhanced multitasking and Dolby Digital Plus, which Netflix streams with its HD. The tablet is powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor and comes packed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, reports Android Central .

The 8-inch YOGA Tab 3 will be available from October, priced at AU $317 (WiFi) and AU $396 (LTE). Both YOGA Tab 3 10-inch variant and YOGA Tab 3 Pro will be on sale starting November. The 10-inch YOGA Tab 3 will be priced at AU $476 (WiFi) and AU $555 (LTE) whereas the YOGA Tab 3 Pro will come with a price tag of AU $555 (WiFi only) and AU $953 (LTE).
