September has never been this better especially for fans of various sky phenomena with three amazing sky events to expect this week, Sept 16 to 21, 2013.

Two of the most beautiful planets of the solar system will work together to give entertainment to sky watchers this week. Watch out for the amazing change of seasons starting off with a very bright full moon. The most recent is the Full Harvest Moon that rose after yesterday's sunset and has reached its full blown full moon position by 7:13 am EDT when the sun went up the succeeding morning.

National Geographic reports that for the entire night on Sept 19, the planet Uranus will standby near the moon. This Green Giant sky phenomenon boasts of a distance of just 4 degrees away from the big moon. This is one weird cosmic couple that will be the same as if there are will be 8 full moons to witness beside each other.

The best gadget to witness the Green Giant is a pair of binoculars. All you need to do is search for a very tiny disk in greenish blue color.

On September 22, 4:44 pm ET, the Equinox will be witnessed, that is the sign for the year to start off the fall season for those in the northern part of the hemisphere and the beginning of spring on the southern side. This equinox brands one of the primary turning points for the season cycle change.
