Nintendo continues to hype “Hyrule Warriors Legends” with a new video showing off the skills of Tetra from “The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.” The video has the fan favorite pummel a number of foes in a new area, which also seems to be from “Wind Waker.”

For those unaware, “Hyrule Warriors Legends” is a 3DS port of the original “Hyrule Warriors” from the Wii U. This version of the game will come with all the previously released downloadable content (DLC) and a number of exclusive characters.

The said exclusive characters include the aforementioned Tetra, King Hyrule, Skull Kid and Toon Link, according to Gematsu. All of these characters, with the exception of Skull Kid, come from the critically acclaimed “Wind Waker” game, which originally came out on the Gamecube and was later ported to the Wii U due to its popularity.

Speaking of “Wind Waker,” this version of “Hyrule Warriors” seems to hold that particular title in high regard. The game has an exclusive “Wind Waker” mode for Toon Link and the other exclusive characters, all of which aren’t playable in the regular campaign mode.

The characters will be playable in the other modes such as free mode and adventure mode. These gameplay modes let players use any character they want without any restrictions from the game’s story.

While the characters are in the 3DS version of the game, they can be ported to the Wii U for those who prefer playing on a console and a big screen TV. This means that the player will have to double dip and get both versions of the game if he or she wants the extra content on the Wii U.

Judging from the Tetra gameplay video, it seems like the gameplay remains the same. If a gamer has played a “Warriors” title before, they’ll have played this as well, though that isn’t necessarily a problem, especially if they’re “Zelda” fans.

“Hyrule Warriors Legends” is slated for a January release in Japan for the 3DS, according to Nintendo Life. There’s currently no definitive release date for the Western version of the game, though it is coming out in 2016.
