With the alpha testing of “Star Wars Battlefront” already underway, it was a matter of time before leaks started to stream in. And even before the closed PC alpha test was announced by Electronic Arts, those who already have early access have started exploring what can be seen in the game.

Spotted by Eurogamer, one fan and NeoGAF user had already showcased the different vehicles that can be seen in “Star Wars Battlefront.” Not all of the ships will be playable in the alpha, but the testing does have some impressive offerings, including the Walker Assault map that fits 40 players.

The Lambda Shuttle, Corellian Corvette and the Y-Wing are some of the vehicles that have been sighted in the files. So far, some of the leaked videos have even shown off a glimpse of Tattooine.

Previously, there have been footage of the alpha testing leaked over at various video hosting sites. However, EA and DICE have acted fast and taken down the videos. The early alpha access has a no recording rule, which has even resulted in one Twitch user being banned by EA.

Developer DICE has also taken the time to explain to fans some of their plans for “Star Wars Battlefront,” particularly on the aspect of replayability for the game. The “Star Wars” fan base has always been a big one, and one has to also consider that the next game following the “Star Wars Battlefront” franchise, the latest title is surely an anticipate done by fans.

Since DICE was revealed to be the developer, some fans could not help but wonder how much of “Star Wars Battlefront” will have the “Battlefield” feel to it. In an interview with The Guardian, developer DICE assured fans that despite the studio’s experience and history with “Battlefield,” "Star Wars Battlefront"will be a game of its own.

“We have a strong legacy with Battlefield, but we did not want this to be a battlefield game—we wanted it to have a heart and soul of its own,” said DICE’s Patrick Bach to The Guardian. “We stayed true to what we believed in, and when people saw it, they got it, they agreed that this is a game on its own, it is not ‘Battlefield,’ and they liked it.”

DICE also revealed that its plans for the single-player campaign goes beyond the narrative that people can go through. Rather, there is an element of replayability, in that players will want to go through it again, which should separate it from how other games present their single-player modes.
