The SAP (System Applications and Products) Company has now set off a new software-as-a-service proffering in Australia.

The Business Objects BI OnDemand product has been authoritatively available to companies since 5th May 2010 even though it has by now been subjected to a two months trial period for quality assessment purposes.

The basic free trial version, the top of the range Advanced offering or the Essential model will be able to be chosen by users.

According to Experian QAS Australia, the vice president of SAP for small and medium sized enterprises in the Japan and Asia Pacific regio, Tom Kindermans told The Australian that the company expects to release its very much awaited ByDesign software-as-a-service proffering next year.

The product's services are currently being localised by certain procedures.

SAP also revealed two of its new data management products last month.

Experian QAS Australia also stated that SAP is in a preparation to make public the Project Management 5.0, SAP Portfolio, and SAP Enterprise Project Connection applications, which are all part of its Product Lifecycle Management range of data management tools.
