EverQuest Next has been slowly creeping into the limelight as a sandbox that touts multiplayer content and experience. Reports on the upcoming game have stated the use of voxel brushes, sculpting tools, and other devices so you can build as you like and never hold back.

At first glance, it's easy to picture another game that's also coming out for the next-gen console and has also existed in the PC platform for a while now. The difference with EverQuest Next is that you can easily create more than just blocks and blocks of things and structures.

In fact, you can make almost anything, like this Twitch-streamed castle reported by VG 24/7. In the video, the castle was constructed by the team behind the game.

Now the latest bit of news about EverQuest Next is that there are hints that the game will be coming to PS4 in addition to the previously announced PC platform.

"We haven't announced, technically, that we're putting it on PlayStation 4, but it's fair to say that we're a Sony company so, you know, I say that with a smile on my face," said John Smedley of Sony Online Entertainment, in an interview quoted by GameSpot.

Still, that's not a confirmation, unlike when it was announced that the franchise will be focused on developing for the PC. However, just as a release date has not yet been announced for the game, it's also not impossible that a PS4 version will be on the way.
