Television show “Prison Break” is all set to make a comeback with its fifth Season in March 2016 and here is the exciting update regarding the possible plots of the upcoming Season of the hit action crime thriller.

Fans are eagerly waiting for the revival of the show after a gap of five years and the makers of the show are exploring the possible plots to bring back the deceased protagonist Michael Scofield to life. It was earlier reported that the key characters of the show, including Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, will be back on the show.

The finale episode of Season 4, "The Final Break," aired in 2009 and featured Scofield’s close friends and family, including his son as they showed up at Scofield’s grave. However, there will be a twist in the initial episodes of the upcoming Season to show that Scofield is still alive.

Posibily, the directors too are aware of the fact that Scofield’s presence in the show is necessary to keep the audience glued. It was Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller’s “bromanship” that worked wonders for the show. The possibility is that Michael Scofield can be shown waking up from a coma that lasted for six years, Melty reported. Scofield was electrocuted to death six years back, but it may be revealed in the new season that the voltage applied to electrocute him was not high enough to take his life.

Another possibility has been reported by Star Pulse that suggests that Scofield managed to escape from a hospice care after being treated for cancer. Yet another possibility, which is most common in thriller series, is that Scofield can be shown faking his death in the new season. Scofield was shown to cheat death several times in the previous seasons too.

The makers of "Prison Break" have a fetish for surprising their viewers and may come up with an even more exciting plot but the followers can never stop guessing and gushing about this much-anticipated series.

The exact premiere date for Season 5 of this FOX series is yet to be announced.
