The new year is here, which means it’s time to check what’s coming for the PlayStation fans in 2016. Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus lineup for January 2016 and it is bringing more free games to the PlayStation family of consoles. Gamers can expect six titles as part of PS Plus monthly games lineup for January.

According to an announcement on the PlayStation Blog, PlayStation fans will get six new games in their Game Collection on Jan. 5. The list released by Sony suggests that the “Grim Fandango Remastered” and “Hardware: Rivals” are coming to PS4 console while the PS3 owners will get “Dragon Age: Origins” and the popular “Medal of Honor Warfighter” in their collection. PlayStation Vita owners will get an extra title called “Nihilumbra.” Along with these games are “Legends of War Patton” and “Grim Fandango Remastered,” which are coming for PS Vita players.

The PS4 lineup is already bringing the popular game “Grim Fandango Remastered” but what makes it more exciting for players is the debut of “Hardware: Rivals” on the platform. This online multiplayer racing game is finally coming after a Beta gameplay was hosted a few months back. Many players have already enjoyed the gameplay in Beta and some are still waiting to check out this fresh addition.

The Beta gameplay of “Hardware: Rivals” sparked many reactions among players. Some gamers saw the multiplayer shooter as the next “Rocket League.” According to Eurogamer, the “Hardware: Rivals” is a perfect blend of driving experiences and sports, as seen in Beta.

Meanwhile, PS3 owners will finally have an opportunity to check “Medal of Honor Warfighter.” A few years ago, the "Medal of Honor" series has already seen a reboot. However, the game could not compete with other titles from “Battlefield” and “Call of Duty” series in terms of graphics. With a similar history, “Dragon Age” series is also coming to PS3. Regardless of how the old titles have been treated by gamers, fans will be able to enjoy the series again with PlayStation Plus.

Finally, the lineup of games for PlayStation Vita will bring in popular puzzle platformer “Nihilumbra.” The game is already available on several platforms including Android, iOS, Windows PC, MAC and Nintendo’s Wii U. PlayStation has also released a video that features free PlayStation Plus games coming in January.
