Suda 51's controversial and interestingly artistic new game Killer is Dead has been making a name for itself not just with its stylized graphics but also for the fact that it has been crossing the boundaries of sexy gaming since it was first announced.

But for its most recent trailer, you don't see any of that--none of the gigolo modes or the girls in skimpy outfits. Instead, you get to see a lot of bang and splash, with fights scenes between Mondo and his enemies.

According to Computer and Video Games, however, creator Suda 51 has no plans of changing the risqué approach to sexuality and femininity--so this means there will probably still be those scenes in gigolo missions that a lot of people are waiting for.

Killer is Dead is set for release for the PS3 and Xbox 360, with Deep Silver publishing for UK and Australia, and Xseed Games in the States, coming in August and this summer with a reversible cover and a DLC.

Dead Rising 3 exclusive missions revealed

When you get the Xbox SmartGlass companion, there's already a unique feature that will be available to you once you get a hold of Dead Rising 3.

IGN reports that executive producer Josh Bridge has detailed the functions of the SmartGlass application and the additional side missions that go with it.

Once you launch the app, it will skin your phone so that it's like the phone in the game. "You'll get calls from a character that are only on the SmartGlass device. So if you don't have SmartGlass, you won't get those calls from that guy. Which also means you won't get those missions," said Bridge to IGN.

However, he also adds that the side missions are merely add-ons, and won't take away from the fun of the main storyline.

State of Decay goes all-out survival

Undead Labs' State of Decay seems to be growing a fan base, and has become a favorite for those who want to experience the kind zombie vs. humans take on gaming.

To add to the unique flavor of the game, VG 24/7 reports that the developers will be releasing a sandbox mode DLC entitled Pure Survival.

The idea was based on the developers' observations of players, wherein they found out that after hours of playing the game, the gamers would restart it to go through a different playthrough.

Since it's an evolving game that's based on how you react, the story line stays the same, but the experience varies each time.

"After they finish, they want to just experience the game in pure sandbox mode, and be able to focus on experiencing the world and not worry about completing the story. We're going to make that happen," said Jeff Strain, studio founder of Undead Labs, in a statement quoted by VG 24/7.

The Sandbox mode DLC will then give the players the chance to just fight off zombies for as long as they can, as more of a simulation style, rather than one that follows the game's story.

There's no word yet on when the DLC will be released, but it's currently being developed by the studio.
