Wide receiver Dwayne Bowe has agreed to sign with the Cleveland Browns on a two-year deal after eight seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, which released him earlier in the offseason of the National Football League, or NFL. The 30 year old Bowe visited the Browns last week and met with the Cleveland staff which included general manager Ray Farmer, who was with Kansas City in the previous years.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed but the NFL Network first reported the news. Bowe was with the Chiefs from 2007 to 2014 and had his best year in 2010 when he made the NFL Pro Bowl squad, his only appearance in the elite team in his career, and the NFL All-Pro Second Team. He was also the NFL’s receiving touchdowns leader during the 2010 season when he caught 15 receiving TDs. He also had 1,162 receiving yards on 72 receptions that season his highest in the league.

In full seasons, or 16 games played with the Chiefs, Bowe has registered 1,000-plus yards in 2008, 2010 and 2011 and was five yards off the 1,000-yard mark in his rookie season with 995. For his entire NFL career, he has a total of 7,155 receiving yards on 532 catches with 44 receiving touchdowns.
