Early last year, fans of the Weekly Shonen Jump manga characters have seen the Bandai Namco’s newest title, then exclusive to Japan PlayStation consoles. This is the “J-Stars Victory VS,” which featured the different heroes that starred in the weekly Japanese magazine.

Now, PlayStation players who are in Europe will also get the chance to grab the brawler title, dubbed “J-Stars Victory Versus +.” According to the PlayStation Blog, the game will be coming to the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita on June 26. To tease fans even more, there is a new trailer, seen below, which features the characters and some one-on-one fight scenes.

Familiar faces include “Bleach” hero Ichigo, Goku from “Dragon Ball Z,” and Sakata Gintoki of “Gintama.” These are just the icing characters, as there are a lot more in the game. Preordering a copy will give players a chance to get the exclusive Compendium, which features 52 character artworks and PSN themes.

DualShockers got an exclusive with producer Koji Nakajima on the PS4 version of the game. It appears that the decision to tap the PS4 market is due to its market share, which would allow the game to reach more people. Despite this, however, there does not appear to be any plans to launch the title on the Xbox One.

Bandai Namco is going all-out on manga and anime-based titles, as there is also the “One Piece Pirate Warriors 3,” which will come out this August on the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. The game also has some special preorder perks, which is the exclusive “3 Brothers” metal case, showing off Luffy, Ace and Sabo. Apart from this, there’s the DLC pack with two costumes and two quests. Upgrading the game to the collector’s edition, dubbed the Doflamingo Edition for both the PS4 and PS3 will include the Doflamingo figurine.

Capping off the new updates on manga-based games, fans of the hit manga-turned-anime “Shingeki no Kyojin,” or “Attack on Titan,” can enjoy the newest trailer from Atlus and Nintendo. The game “Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains” will be coming in May to the Nintendo 3DS eShop, reports Comicbook.com. But the trailer, seen in the link here, can keep fans going for the remaining weeks.
