A behind the scenes footage from the new James Bond movie "Spectre" was released online on April 30. Clips of a car chase involving the super spy's classic Aston Martin DB10 and a Jaguar C-X75, were released by Sony Pictures. (Watch the video below.)

According to 007.com, the video includes director Sam Mendes and actor Dave Bautista talking about the scene. The clip also features special effects supervisor Chris Corbould, stunt coordinator Gary Powell and action vehicles technical coordinator Neil Layton. The entire video is under two minutes long.

“I love the idea of this fantastic car being in a one-on-one battle with another incredible car from Jaguar, which is similarly extraordinary actually,” says Mendes, talking about the Aston Martin. The Oscar winning director added that the scene was between two of the fastest cars in the world. He also added it was a "cat-and-mouse game" through the night streets of Rome.

Yahoo.com reported that Dave Bautista said that it was a scene that could be very "iconic." The former WWE wrestler added that scenes like two cars racing through Rome was something people see only in a James Bond film. Bautista, who plays Mr. Hinx, is shown driving his Jaguar chasing Bond.

"Spectre" will mark the 50th anniversary of Bond's use of an Aston Martin. The first time Bond was shown driving the Aston Martin was in 1964 when Sean Connery drove the iconic DB5 in the film "Goldfinger."

The car chase footage comes a week after Sony Pictures released a teaser of "Spectre" at the CinemaCon on April 22. The teaser had included a spoiler which Mendes requested the media not to reveal.

The movie, which is Daniel Craig's fourth outing as James Bond, has been filmed in a number of exotic locations so far including Rome, Austria and Mexico City. The new Bond movie also features Christoph Waltz playing a character called Oberhauser - which is the name of Bond's former skiing instructor in the novels.

Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz and Dave Bautista will be joined by Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux. The movie is set to open in U.S. theaters on Nov. 6 this year.
