During the IFA event that was held in September this year, Microsoft had unveiled the Lumia 730 Dual SIM and the Lumia 830 with Nokia branding. The single SIM edition of Lumia 730 that is called the Lumia 735 was expected to be available in the U.S. markets through carriers like Sprint and Verizon. However, it seems that Microsoft has dropped its plan of launching the handset in the U.S. because it is no longer on the official website.

The Lumia 735 was previously listed as "coming soon" on the official website for the U.S. audience but it is no longer present on it, says PhoneArena. The Lumia 830 handset that was launched alongside the Lumia 730 is already available in the U.S through AT&T. However, the Lumia 735 has been removed from the product listing page on Microsoft's website. Accessing the product page of Lumia 735 reads "Sorry, this page is not available." Nokia Power User says that the Lumia 735 was destined to arrive on Verizon. The RM-1041 aimed for Verizon had cleared the FCC certification. Since then, there has been no update on releasing the Lumia 735 in the U.S.

PhoneArena claims that the reason behind the sudden disappearance of Lumia 735 from product listing may be related to the fact that the Redmond giant had announced that it won't be using Nokia brand name after it acquired the Finland based mobile phone manufacturer. With the launch of Lumia 535, the company has started using the Microsoft branding for Lumia handsets. Hence, the handset is sold as Microsoft Lumia 535.

The Nokia Lumia 735 has the same specs that are present on the Lumia 730 but it comes without dual SIM capabilities. The Lumia 735 comes with a 4.7-inch HD display, a 5 MP selfie camera and a rear camera of 6.7 MP. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset and 1 GB of RAM. The internal storage of the device is 8 GB and the external storage supports up to 128 GB of microSD. The Lumia 735 supports 4G LTE connectivity and is packed with a 2200 mAh battery.
