Lindsay Lohan's supervised probation has finally ended. On Thursday, Superior Court's judge Stephanie Sautner praised Lohan for completing her community service, therapy sessions and paying all her fees in time.

The last five years have been turbulent ones for Lindsay Lohan, as she has had to make innumerable appearances in court and has been arrested for various felonies. Thursday's hearing was the last probation status check for the actress in her shoplifting and drunk driving cases.

Judge Sautner said that Lindsay Lohan had "done everything that this court has asked of her." While saunter terminated her formal probation, she placed Lohan on an informal one for the 2011 shoplifting conviction till May 2014. She did warn Lohan that she needed to stay out of trouble, saying that she should try and "obey all laws."

The Mean Girls star responded by saying "I just wanted to thank you for being fair. What you've done has really opened a lot of doors for me." Lohan has had her run-ins with the law and been jailed a few times for several violations - like using drugs and excessive alcohol.

It was Judge Sautner who had, in the past, sentenced Lohan to jail and placed her under house arrest for violating her probation terms. Now, however, Sautner seemed happy with Lohan's progress and ordered an end to her probation.

Lindsay Lohan's career has suffered immensely due to her law-violations. Recently, though, she's been trying to making somewhat of a comeback. She hosted an episode of "Saturday Night Live" and is due to appear on a TV show titled "Glee."

Now, with court appearances and therapy out of the way, she can concentrate on her career. Judge Sautner gave her similar parting advice saying, "stop nightclubbing and focus on your work."
